Whether you are a reader, writer, or editor, if you have even considered the freelance game, you know one thing: everyone loves the idea of publishing a book. Who wouldn’t?
And from one fellow writer to another, here's why you should listen to me. Because just like you, I am in the trenches. Why? Because I don’t care about writing a book. In fact, I hold myself to no standard to finish projects. Before you assume I'm crazy, let's dive into my writing philosophy. If you are here to learn how to write and complete a book, you are not in the right place. My blog is about one thing: the journey of writing fiction. Since the start of my writing days, I have been a novelist. I still do my share in short stories, poetry, etc. But writing fiction novels is my place. My blog is for writers who know that writing is their place. So what do I mean when I say, writing as a journey, not a destination? What I mean is: I specialize in one thing: writing as a verb. As exciting as finishing a project is, I am here to give you the in's and out's of the entire process that proceeds your book. My blog is dedicated to being a fountain of resources for the everyday fiction writer. So what will that include? After years of writing fiction, I am going to share with you my favorite tips, writing resources, literary reviews, and creative epiphanies. My blog is from one writer to another. It is important to note, that while I do offer editing services (Don't worry, this post is on the way!), my blog is not a place of criticism. It is a writers safe space to explore writing methods/resources, develop their abilities, unleash their creativity, and meet fellow writers. Here here, writers everywhere. Let's get into it.
